Team Canada Smoker - July 11

Team Canada will hold exhibition Muay Thai bouts at their 349 Wardlaw location. Anyone with less than 5 amateur bouts is welcome to participate. Spectators $10. Call Giuseppe at 772-2599 for more details.

Team Canada extends an invitation to all Winnipeg combative gyms to participate in the first Smoker held at Team Canada MMA. The Smoker will be exhibition bouts between two evenly matched combatants in terms of size, skill, and experience. The purpose of these exhibition bouts is to give new, potential fighters experience without the stress of competing in front of large crowds. Potential fighters will be able to put their training to a test in a safe environment controlled by a trained referee with paramedics at ring side. There will be no judges as these are only exhibition matches. Please note that athletes with more than five amateur fights will not be permitted to participate in this event.

This is how we all can start to build amateur Muay Thai and, in the future, amateur MMA in this province. If you truly have love for these sports and want them to flourish in Manitoba, please considering participating in this event. A limited amount of spectators are welcome at a cost of $10 per person.
